Why Crime Is So Easy At This Point, Ect.

Click This Link To Creep On My Life

So.. here's the deal. If you follow that link, you can see a picture OF MY HOUSE taken by a satellite in space. (I didn't realize this until just now. Creepy, right? Also, this picture is at least 6 mos old bc I've had my Cobalt for that long and the camper hasn't been in the driveway in months. But anyway...) If ANYONE WITH THE INTERNET can see a picture of my house, explain to me WHY the US government, AKA - the most powerful organization in the world, has such a "hard time" finding terrorists/WMDs/anything at all, really. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but seriously... I feel like they're either stupid or lying at this point. Or maybe both.

The end.

EDIT: Dear Barack, if you're reading this, please don't have me killed for calling you and your minions friends idiots.

Fun In The 'Burgh

I know I complain about how hard school is, but don't think it's all work and no play! We still get a little bit of time to enjoy ourselves and the city.

We also get some time to wear ridiculous clothes...

And sharpen our artistic abilities...

So don't feel bad for me, because despite my complaining, I'm having a great time!

A New Leaf... Or 'Do.

I planned this. I knew it was coming. But when I broke two hair ties in one day, it finally gave me the motivation to just do it.

I swear I lost at least 5 pounds when it all got cut off.

I'm planning on donating the extra pounds to Locks of Love. Hopefully it's long enough. Anyway, I also used my waiting time to purchase a new pair of sneakers. Unfortunately, I lost the rights to them almost immediately upon their entry into the house...

Since I value my life I think I'll just let him keep them.

Rainbows

About a week ago, the weather was awful. The rain was terrible and I was pretty sure our camper was going to float away.
But as they say, you can't have rainbows without rain!

I hope you'll excuse my lack of decent photography. I was taking the pictures on my phone, during a storm, inside of a moving vehicle. But the rainbow was still really pretty!

Showers and Flowers

About the only thing that I enjoy about the rain is how much bigger and brighter it makes the flowers. Since I have a recent obsession with flowers and all things outdoorsy and pretty, I thought I would share some of the pretty flowers I enjoy so much with you!

I love purple and I love the smell of lilacs, so obviously I have to bring some of them inside!

Unfortunately, sometimes freshly cut flowers come with visitors...

I'm proud to announce that I killed the spider all by myself, which is a huge deal for me. I'm such a big girl.

Everyone Poops

Today while I was helping my mom watch kids at church and I discovered a book that changed my life.

I've heard of this book, but I've never actually seen it. So when I found it I was really excited to see what made it so infamous.
Below are some of the passages that really struck me.

I never realized this. I also never realized that elephant poop looked like a Whopper.

HAHAHAHA. Hysterical.

If this is how much poop rabbits really produce, I have finally stopped wanting a pet bunny.

This was my favorite page because I can totally identify with it. I always smoke my pipe on the toilet. In fact, I can't even go to the bathroom without it. I just keep it in my bathroom, because smoking a pipe on the toilet is so enjoyable that I never want to smoke a pipe anywhere else.

Do people really read this stuff to their kids? Really?

Why? ...Just Because

I'm sure most people that start blogs have an idea of what they're going to write about. I'm sure that they know of something exciting in their lives that people will love to read about. I'm not one of those people.
I'm starting this blog just because. Just because I can I guess and because sometimes exciting things do happen to me. Also because it's a good way to keep family and friends updated on the exicting and not-so-exciting-but-important things that happen in my life.
If you're reading this you probably already know that I'm Lauren. I'm 20 years old and a college student that just recently decided she wanted to become a nurse. I applied for nursing school a few weeks ago (see? That's kind of exciting and very important) and I'm in the process of (finally!) getting ready to buy a new car.
So.. this is me and my life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
