Kalloween 2010

Last weekend was Kalloween at Kalyumet. It was a nice, relaxing weekend with lots of family, friends, and frights!
Zion got to wear his awesome costume that he was super excited about!

For the second year in a row Andrea participated in the Scarewood Forest haunted trail.

It really wasn't too exciting of a weekend. But I'm not complaining. I just enjoyed the two days of relaxtion.

Movie Star Mex

In case you don't know, Kalyumet in the campground in Clarion that my family has a seasonal spot at. This year, Kalyumet made their first commercial, and my little Mexican was one of the stars!

Click here to see her amazing portrayal of a game-playing, pizza-eating wild child.

Without a doubt, some of the finest acting I have ever seen. She deserves an Emmy or something. Such passionate pizza eating... it almost brought me to tears.

Home Videos

And now I present the comedic stylings of Andrea and Mallory.

They also blessed us with a music video complete with original choreography.

Of course videos of such professional quality can't be made without a few mistakes.

The 4th of July... Finally!

I KNOW that the 4th was weeks ago... but things have been hectic. I know that that is always my excuse... but things are always hectic. Anyway... here's how my 4th of July went...

We spent the whole week up at camp and had a few adventures, but for the most part, it was just relaxing!
The first weekend of our 4th of July vacation, we enjoyed a reptile show in the banquet hall, complete with turtles, snakes, and crocodiles!

For the 4th we got to enjoy fireworks in Clarion.

During the week we went to Beartown Rocks and did some climbing.

And then we visited some family at my great-grandfathers old hunting cabin that my dad has talked about forever but we've never been until now.

The following weekend there was a campground-wide water battle that is actually intended for children... but I don't think that my dad got that memo.

Oh, and at one point we decided to take Zion for a hike, but he wasn't into it...

So that's a condensed version of my 4th of July week! But don't worry, I have lots of other important things to post about! Birthdays, new cars, and more! Promise I'll get to it ASAP!

Memorial Day and Catch Up

Things have been so busy in the past couple weeks I've totally neglected all the silly, little things that I do for fun. Needless to say, my Farmville has suffered terribly.
On the weekends we've continued to go up to camp. Memorial Day weekend was relaxing and entertaining. I managed to put together a pretty sweet ensemble Saturday.

And then we enjoyed a Birds of Prey show.

I also got abused which is the norm.

And I discovered a new Indian tribe...

And of course we had to fit in some hiking so we could at least feel a little rustic.

This past weekend just us girls went up to camp. It was a pretty quiet weekend and a little rainy... well, a lot rainy. But I did discover what has to be the biggest mosquito in the state.

And I finally got out to test drive a new car.

So all in all I think I've had a pretty productive few weekends.

Hello Sunshine!

This weekend my mother, sister, and I went up to camp again to enjoy a wonderful, (finally) sunny weekend. Our grass seed even began to sprout tiny, litte grass blades!

Little Mexy and I finally got a chance to enjoy the arcade, where I got to show off my Skee Ball skills.

Andrea also scored third place on the cup shooting game! Unfortunately, she doesn't know her own initials...

It was also so nice out that we got to go and enjoy a beautiful view from Seneca Point.

And it was Harry Potter weekend at Kalyumet, so Andrea got to get her Hogwarts on with her wand and glasses...

It was a great weekend with great weather! But no camping this coming weekend because it is my big two-one! I'm not sure what my plans are yet, but I'm seriously considering trying out the Dave and Buster's scene. It's like Chucky Cheese for adults! What could be better?

Finally Camping Season.. And Mother's Day!

This weekend was our first weekend up at camp for this summer. I was so excited to finally go. This year we have a seasonal site, which means that our camper will stay up there for the next few months and all we have to do is jump in the car and go!

Unfortunately the weather this weekend wasn't that great, so there wasn't much to do except watch some flimsy pine trees blow around...

...and to fight with the dog over sticks. I can't believe how awful Zion's language has gotten. I'm pretty sure that he picked up that habit from his friends Zeke and Zoey.

On Saturday we got to enjoy the Mother's Day Dinner Theater that they had at the hall at Kalyumet. The play was hilarious and the food was delicious!

It may not have been the greatest weekend for camping, but we made the best of it, and we still have many weekends left to enjoy.
